Found something? Check whether somebody is looking for it.

Detectorists and magnet fishers turn up lost things all the time. Before it ends up in a drawer: look at the requests posted in that area, open or closed, from the last twelve months.

    Open the map in found mode

    Browse shows the requests from the last 12 months, including closed ones, as rough 5 km areas.

    Look for a match

    Same kind of item, same area, a date that fits. The photos and the description help.

    Say so

    On the request, press "I think I found this" and write what you found and where. The owner gets your note by email.

Browse in found mode

Browsing needs no account; sending a note needs a free one. Whether a found item must be handed to the authorities depends on the country: check the rules where you are.
