Retrievly is a platform that connects people who've lost an item with nearby hobbyist searchers (metal detecting, magnet fishing, and similar). We provide the matching, messaging, and coordination tools — we are not a search-and-recovery service ourselves and don't guarantee any item will be found.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Retrievly is used to arrange in-person meetups between strangers — you're responsible for your own safety and judgment when meeting another user, and we recommend meeting in daylight, telling someone where you're going, and trusting your instincts if something feels off.

Retrievly doesn't process payments, tips, or rewards. Any tip mentioned on a request is an informal arrangement directly between the two users, entirely outside the app and at their own discretion and risk.

You're responsible for what you post — request details, photos, messages, reviews. Don't post anything false, illegal, infringing, or that reveals someone else's personal information without consent. We can remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or a report we receive.

Location shown publicly is intentionally approximate for safety; exact coordinates are only shared with a searcher once picked. Ownership of a found item, and any legal obligations around lost property in your jurisdiction, remain between the two users — Retrievly is not a party to that exchange.

A request may note that an item is on public ground, the poster's own property, or private property that isn't theirs. Retrievly doesn't grant, arrange, or imply any right to access private property — if you're searching a location, you're responsible for getting the property owner's permission first.

Retrievly is provided "as is." We're not liable for the conduct of other users, the outcome of any search, or disputes arising from a meetup or exchange arranged through the app, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse the reporting system, or endanger other users.

These terms are governed by Austrian law. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these terms as the app evolves. We'll let you know about material changes before they take effect.
